There is a New Girl in Town

Have I ever mentioned I just love where I'm from.  People just truly love you.  Then when you have kids, they love them like they are their own.  You can't go anywhere without someone giving you a giant hug and big kiss on the cheek.

Well, my baby girl loves it just as much as I do.  Today she started working down at Fin's Red Bird, with my coach from high school.  You can see more about her resturant here.

She is sooooo in her element. Being with people, working hard, and not afraid of a thing!

Lyssa, I love you so much I could just squish you!

School's Out for Summer!

This last week of school has been full of awards programs, parties, and lots of fun! I'm so proud of Lyssa and Parker!  The adjusted so well to their new school, and worked so hard to earn all of their end of school awards. We were once again blessed by awesome teachers this year!!

This weekend we also attended the first annual end of school bash! The kids had a blast (okay, so did the adults)!

There was limbo contest, a batman jumpy, photo booth, cotton candy, snow cones, and tons of food.

Helloooooo summer time!  We welcome you with open arms!!

Best Momma Ever!

I wonder sometimes where she gets all those patience's. Whenever I need her, she is here.  When some people doubted me, she didn't.  Unconditional love, always!
The love she has for her grandchildren is "to the moon and back."

Mom, seriously from the bottom of my heart, I can't thank you enough for this life.  I couldn't ask for anything better.  I love you more than words can say!!

My momma's day was pretty good, too!
I got to start my day with a run without pushing a running stroller :)

My sweet, Lyss!  She is so kind hearted.  I can tell she put so much thought into picking out my gifts.
My favorite candy, a candle, yes to carrots lip balm, and my all time favorite lavender bubble bath.  What a doll!

Parker also made me a homemade mosaic planter with some of my favs, morning glories!

It really is all about the small stuff!

The hubs didn't do so bad either...
My new ride!

Thank you God
for giving me all these blessing that I don't deserve.

Lately

Last week was awesome!  My parents were down visiting. My dad got some much deserved time away from work as this year was his busiest tax season in 40 years!!  We spent the week doing a little bit of everything...soccer, baseball, shopping, eating out, and lots of time of the boat.
We are so happy Summer is right around the corner!

Unfortunately, we also spent some time in the ER with my favorite 7 year old.
Allergies are giving him all kinds of fits!!!  Is this not the saddest thing you have ever seen!!

It didn't slow him down much.
Monday night he was back playing his first baseball game of the season.
Here is his number one fan cheering him on...
What a game it was.  The pirates came back in the last inning to win the game!  AND Parker hit his first home run to bring in the last two scores.
Parker...
I will never forget the look on your face as you came across home plate, or how your teammates came running out to give you chest bumps and high fives.  I have to admit there might have been a tear or two run down my face.  I love your will to never give up!

And yeah for Wednesday!!!  Survivor is getting good!
We are rooting for ya, Kim!
(I think it's safe to say Parker has his first crush)

Baseball Boys!

Last weekend was Parker's first tournament of the season.  I'm very excited about their season starting.  From this looks of this picture, Parker is too!

Although this is only Parker's second season he is catching on fast.  He was so proud when he won the game ball.

Cutest batter I've ever seen!

There is not many places Tate would rather be than watching Parker play baseball.
He is soaking it all up!
Most days he wakes up asking for his glove, ball and bat!

I think it's safe to say this is the first year of many baseball seasons!

On another note, we are very excited around here.

My mom and dad are here visiting all week!! AND we are taking the boat out for the first time this weekend!

Happy Saturday!!!
