A whole bunch of crazy

...and I'm not talking about my kids!

Where to start. Really, I'm not sure. The best way to describe it would be one hell of a roller coster ride!

On June 10th, our house went on contract. I can't possibly write everything that has happened between now and then (just 10 short days). Aaron and I spent last week in Temple trying to find a house. We actually put three contracts on three different houses, oh yeah, in just three days. The first two house were brand spankin' new. They were great homes, but I would wake up in the middle of the night and not feel good about them. So, the next day I would tell Aaron we have to break the contract. Being the good guy he is, he would just go right along with me and we would look at more houses the next day. Anyway, third time the charm. It's actually a house I am in LOVE with. I spend most of my day planning where I will put my stuff! We are set to close June 30th, but for reasons I can't explain it might be delayed. If you are reading this blog right now, please say a sweet little prayer that everything goes as planned. My heart is VERY heavy tonight, and I know that if I have some people praying for us during this transition it would make me feel so much better. I thank you in advance for doing this.

After all..."Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain."

I'll update soon.

  2. Just want you to know that we are praying for you, Cassi! I'm so sorry that the last couple of weeks have had me out of town...and now we're headed as a family to Ukraine! Please know we think of all of you so often...are asking and asking our Father who LOVES to give generously to bless your move...to get you settled in just the right place at just the right time. I can't wait to meet you in person and welcome you to town!
